Assistant Director, Talent Management
As part of the Learning & Talent Management team, the candidate will be responsible for the formulation and end-to-end implementation of the Management Associate Programme (MAP). The key responsibilities would include:
  • Formulate and execute key talent strategies under Management Associate Programme (MAP) with the key objective of attracting, developing and retaining high potential talents to build the University's talent pipeline
  • Develop and administer the programme from talent selection, identification to engagement as well as end-to-end planning and execution of the various activities/events scheduled throughout the entire programme period
  • Curate the assessment tools used during the shortlisting and selection phase to ensure the quality of candidates appointed under this programme. This includes overseeing the tenders required for consultancy services and working with the appointed vendors to finetune the assessment tools to suit the University's needs where required (e.g. online personality profiling assessments, assessment centres)
  • Play the role of strategic talent partner and be the key point of engagement for senior leaders and participants under MAP
  • Actively engage the young talents to understand their career goals, assess their areas of development, track and execute their career progression and development plans for succession planning
  • Deepen the competencies of the talents under the MAP to prepare them for entrance into the existing talent development programme
  • Engage senior leaders to recommend developmental areas/initiatives tailored to individual's needs to help these talents grow in preparation for them to move into key leadership appointments in time to come
  • Drive recruitment marketing efforts for this programme to create top-of-mind awareness amongst undergraduates. This includes working closely with internal stakeholders the Careers Affairs Office, Corporate Communications Office, Schools/ Faculty on the recruitment marketing collaterals, recruitment fairs/talks and platforms where we can strengthen the profiling of the programme.


Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or relevant field with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in talent management and/or leadership development programmes
  • Strong communication skills and is adept at building relationships and stakeholder management
  • Ability in influencing and collaborating with stakeholders across all levels
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and strong analytical thinking
