A national research centre of Nanyang Technological University, the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore focuses on Spaces of the Curatorial, addressing the urgencies of our time. A leading international art institution, the Centre is a platform, host and partner creating and driven by dynamic thinking in its three-fold constellation: Residencies Programme, Research and Academic Education and Exhibitions. It brings forth innovative, multidisciplinary, holistic and experimental forms of emergent artistic and curatorial practices that intersect the present and histories of contemporary art embedded in social, geo-political, geo-cultural spheres with other fields of knowledge. NTU CCA Singapore's office and research centre is located at Gillman Barracks.

This is a hands-on position for the planning and management of events and outreach activities to increase CCA's visibility and awareness in the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, newsletters, and offline channels.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling and engaging marketing content, including social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) posts, emails, and promotional materials.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and update social media profiles, prepare, and schedule posts.
  • Event management: Support the programming team in developing and delivering of thematic festival, events, or conferences.
  • Fund raising initiative: Work in tandem with Programming team to develop and implement compelling narratives to achieve fundraising objectives while collaborating on operationalizing major events to drive objectives set
  • Project management and stakeholder communication: When applicable, serve as the point of contact for Centre collaborators and contractors, as well as relevant NTU offices and departments.


Requirements:
  • University qualification in mass communications, marketing, arts or social sciences discipline
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the arts field of in a similar role.
  • Possess past experience in the planning and implementation of marketing and communication of contemporary art activities
  • Possess excellent writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Suite,
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Social media savy
  • Resourceful & detailed
