Assistant Manager (Events), Students Office
The Assistant Manager (Events) will develop, plan, review and execute initiatives as well as manage operations in the Students Office so as to provide high quality of service to the students and seamlessly align with NTU2025 plan. This role will support the planning, development and management of students functions in terms of Admission, Enrolment marketing, Outreach, Alumni engagement, Student clubs and leadership development, Student Life network and well-being, Faculty-student bonding as well as Student Creativity and Innovation.

Your key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Manage and execute the full spectrum of student admission process
  • Strategically develop, plan and review student admission process
  • Perform data analytics for development and implementation of data-driven outreach and admissions strategies
  • Develop decision metric for admission interview
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various NTU office for alignment in admission strategies and implementation plans
  • Devise and lead long-term campaign for school publicity, digital content development for the MAE website including on Student Achievement
  • Curate interesting and impactful stories for website, social media, etc. and develop publications that will appeal to prospective students and enhance brand awareness
  • Plan and organize flagship events such as NTU Open House, MAE High Tea, MAE Industry Day, MAE Sports Festival and other student-centric events
  • Develop school visits programs for local and international visitors
  • Support and coordinate outreach events (virtual and physical) within school and with College of Engineering
  • Initiate, manage and execute alumni events
  • Manage alumni data, prepare emails and materials to share with alumni
  • Oversee functions and responsibilities of support staff
  • Allocate tasks to appropriate staff with the right skills
  • Brief and monitor progress of delegated tasks, coaching new skills to the support staff to cope with the changes.
  • Ensure all activities and operations carried out in the unit are in line with NTU's guidelines


Requirements:
  • A recognized university degree, preferably in a related field of study.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to analyze, interpret and evaluate results and create reports and/or presentations.
  • Able to redesign processes to achieve better and more efficient work performance.
  • Possess digital marketing knowledge, event organizing skills, office document processing skills, presentation skills
  • Preferably with 3 years of work experience in the university environment.
