Duties

  • Ensure completeness of referral forms from referring institutions
  • Register patient admission, prepare and request for additional information that may be necessary to complete the Follow-up Referral form for doctor-in-charge to review and approve.
  • Update outcome of referrals once approved or rejected by doctor-in-charge, either via the IRMS or fax to referring institutions.
  • Liaise with referring institutions on patient’s condition and readiness for transfer. Prepare and arrange for patient’s admission.
  • Accompany patient and Next-Of-Kin to ward on day of admission and verify documentation.
  • Check for completeness and correct filing of documents in patient’s file before sending the file to the Medical Records Office for archive upon discharge of patient.
  • Upkeeping and maintaining of the Medical Records Office (MRO).
  • Sort out brochures for Administration Office.
  • Issue receipts for walk-in cash or cheque donations.
  • Collect and keep records of concession car park coupons issued.
  • Assist in loan and receipt of donated equipment.
  • Collection and franking of mails.
  • General administrative duties including procurement and maintenance of various office equipment and systems.
  • Maintains proper housekeeping at front desk counters always.
  • Manage the visitor pass office.

 

Requirement

  • Minimally GCE O level and above
  • Prior relevant experiemce will be an advantage
