Senior Assistant Manager, Research Programmes

Responsibilties:

Support the Associate Dean (Research Programmes) to manage matters pertaining to research programmes for Master's and PhD degrees in the following areas:
  • Review admission and scholarship applications to ensure compliance to policies/guidelines.
  • Support the computation of allocation of RSS positions to Schools.
  • Work with central offices to monitor and remind Schools on the utilization of RSS positions to ensure all positions are maximally utilized.
  • Work with central offices/Schools to ensure GC's decisions/guidelines have been implemented.
  • Analyze and propose new processing workflows to enhance work effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Roll out nomination calls and organize follow-up activities such as scheduling of applicants' interviews, establishing evaluation committees on postgraduate admissions, scholarships, and awards.


Requirements:
  • A recognized university degree (in any discipline).
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Possess good communication and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application software.
