Senior Assistant Manager, Inclusion & Integration
NTU's Student Affairs Office seeks to achieve its mission of collaborating and co-creating a meaningful and enriching student life experience with its partners by:
  • Promoting students' personal growth through co-curricular learning arising from student-led activities, leadership development initiatives, residential hall programmes, inclusion and integration efforts, community engagement initiatives and sports.
  • Facilitating meaningful engagement among key stakeholders within and outside of the NTU community.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of initiatives that contribute to an inclusive and socially integrated NTU community.
  • Facilitate the adoption of inclusive and integration practices by student groups, as well as NTU units/departments.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and practices which enhance inclusion.
  • Support students, by identifying relevant services required for both academic and non-academic activities.
  • Supervise junior staff in data collection, analysis and the preparation of management reports to meet MOE and NTU's reporting requirements.


Requirements
  • A good Bachelor's degree from a recognised University.
  • At least 6 years' of relevant experience which involves considerable interaction with students or youth. Experience in the tertiary education sector and some working knowledge of disabilities types and support required will be advantageous.
  • Ability to conceptualise and implement initiatives at a strategic level.
  • Communication, negotiation and influencing skills (written and verbal), especially in working collaborative with university students and colleagues from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds.
