Senior Assistant Director, Talent Management

Reporting to the Director, Learning & Talent Management, you will be the strategic partner to internal stakeholders regarding Talent Management matters. Specifically, you will be the key programme manager for the NTU Leadership Development (LEAD) programme and LEAD Alumni which are aimed at developing future leaders of the University.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Design and execute talent development and management strategy to manage talent capabilities within the University.
  • Curate and implement a structured framework under the LEAD with the objective of developing, engaging and retaining high performers and high potentials
  • Drive the programme including overseeing the process of talent selection, identification of development needs, engagement of talents and end-to-end planning and execution of the programmes/ initiatives.
  • Source and implement talent development solutions and ensure that the programme curriculum is up-to-date and fulfills the objectives.
  • Track and execute the career progression, development plans of talents and succession plans for key positions.
  • Work closely with HRBPs to facilitate attachments/secondment to public and private sector companies, projects and milestone programmes to optimise leadership exposure and development.
  • Track and monitor programme feedback, participation rates and other succession planning key indicators.
  • Monitor industry trends and capabilities on talent management to better engage, develop and retain talents


To be successful in this role, the candidate should fulfill the following criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
  • At least 8-12 years of experience in driving and implementing leadership capability reviews, curriculum design and talent development initiatives with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, senior management and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and execution of development of programmes concurrently.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and strong analytical thinking
