NIE invites suitable applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Centre for Research in Child Development under the Office of Education Research. The selected candidate will assume administrative responsibilities at the Centre and support the Centre's initiatives. This is a 3-year contract position.

Responsibilities

• Administer human resource, finance, and grant management processes.
• Prepare cash flow projections, budgeting, and tracking of budget utilization.
• Draft progress reports and key performance indicator reports.
• Schedule meetings and write meeting minutes.
• Assist in organizing research symposiums, workshops, and other academic events.
• Act as a liaison between the Centre and internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the Centre in administrative task forces and committees.
• Other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements

• A university degree.
• Proven experience in administrative roles for at least 3 years, preferably in an academic or research setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
