Assistant Director, Undergraduate Programmes
This role is required to lead the academic arm of the Undergraduate Programmes Office in the critical function of programme management and development, stakeholder engagement and support to Management:

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
  • Oversee management and operations relating to graduation certificates and awards, scholarships, grants, and student aid
  • Oversee the management and reporting for various accreditations
  • Responsible for student discipline by collaborating with the School Academic Integrity Office to investigate academic violations and student misconduct


UPO OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
  • Review, recommend, and drive process improvements to academic operations in terms of structure, systems, programme implementation, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Oversee UPO Finance and HR tasks
  • Oversee the conceptualization, development and implementation of new policies and guidelines for good data and office governance


STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
  • Oversee the analytics and reporting for management and institutional decision-making
  • Act as liaison between school and students, faculty and university administration
  • Engage and connect with stakeholders - serve as conduit for student, faculty and industry partner feedback on academic matters


ADMISSIONS MANAGEMENT
  • Oversee the processes of applications, offers, and matriculation of students into NBS programmers
  • Collaborate with Assistant Director (Student Services) on outreach and marketing efforts.


SUPPORT TO ASSOCIATE DEANS
  • Work with UPO Lead and Associate Deans to drive academic initiatives and operations of the NBS Undergraduate Programmes Office


REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the education sector
  • Prior experience in a relevant administrative role in an institution of higher learning will be advantageous
  • Strong people management and leadership skills; Supervisory experience is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and flexible in adjusting and responding to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as a team; personal initiative and team spirit in the effective implementation of projects
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, multi-task and deliver with quality and timeliness
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, planning and organizational abilities
  • Organised and meticulous with an eye for details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
