Responsibilities
  • Design and structure plans and activities that will promote OneNTU values and identity, strengthen the sense of belonging in NTU and promote community engagement/relationships.
  • Establish and develop an ecosystem of community development partners in NTU to achieve OneNTU goals.
  • Identify community needs and develop plans to meet them in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage university-wide community building opportunities, programmes, initiatives, and activities to deepen the OneNTU culture amongst staff, student, on-campus resident and alumni communities.
  • Recommend and facilitate enhancements to policies, procedures, guidelines and processes such that the OneNTU ethos can be incorporated and lived out.
  • Coordinate cultural change efforts to help every member internalize and embrace the OneNTU culture and values.
  • Collect and maintain relevant data, measures and records for management reporting, decision-making and progress tracking purposes.


Requirements
  • A good degree from a recognised university. Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be considered.
  • At least 8-12 years of relevant experience, with proven track record, in professional practice, managerial leadership, and/or administration.
  • Proven track record in community development. Experience involving at least 2 years in the IHL setting will be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership competencies with excellent interpersonal skills across organizational hierarchy and ability to foster cooperative work environment.
  • Demonstrated strong ability in critical/analytical yet creative and synergistic thinking, strategic planning, organizing and motivating teams/people to achieve extraordinary results.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, collaboration and partnership development skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, technological tools and information systems relevant in the university setting.
  • Keen knowledge/experience in data management an advantage.
