Responsibilities
- Manage HR matters which include administering and processing the Appointment, Reappointment, Promotion & Tenure and Exit Management for Faculty in the assigned School
- Provide HR operational and secretariat support to school level committees formed for the appointment, reappointment, promotion & tenure for Faculty
- Provide HR advisory support on related processes and procedures
- Ensure tasks and enquiries undertaken are resolved and completed in a timely manner in accordance with the service level agreements (SLA)
- Improve processes and procedures to ensure high standards of service and work quality, efficiency and governance
- Involve in coordinating activities in supporting University level meetings
- Drive and/or participate in projects and process reviews
- Collaborate and build good working relationships with stakeholders within the University
- May be expected to manage a small team of 1 - 2 HR Officers
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource, Social Sciences or Business related disciplines
- Strong writing skills is essential
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
- Meticulous and a service-oriented mind-set
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat applications
- Proficient in WorkDay is an advantage
