The Chinese Executive Programmes is part of the China Programmes Office at Nanyang Business School. It aims to offer comprehensive training solutions to accelerate corporations' internationalization, to empower talent and leadership development, and to mitigate cross-cultural and geopolitical divergence.

The candidate is to grow and deepen relationships with corporations in China market and grow our presence across key markets (like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou) in China. The candidate will contribute to the revenue growth for the China Programmes Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead business development strategy across the greater China region.
  • Proactively engage corporations and identify opportunities for training and development.
  • Build strong relationship with key stakeholders, and find mutually beneficial ways of collaboration.
  • Develop proposals for corporations to meet their training requirements.
  • Research and build relationships with new corporations.
  • Provide revenue forecasts and work with the Director on the drafting budget for clients.
  • Conduct industry research, maintain competitive analysis and provide strategy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop relevant training programmes.


Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
  • Candidates with prior work experience in business consultancies, as well as organisations that provide L&D/ Executive Development would be preferred.
  • Proven track record of business development in past working experiences including internal and external successful collaborative experience would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and application of MS Office suite with a good level of proficiency.
  • Chinese language proficiency is essential, for communications with Chinese counterparts and students.
  • Good understanding of Chinese culture and China's business due to incumbent leading business development strategies in the greater China market.
  • Ability to interact with people of varying levels and backgrounds.
  • Analytical and thorough in his/her thought-process.
