Assistant Manager, Outreach and Admissions
A recognised leader in innovation and technology, the College of Engineering (CoE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) comprises five internationally renowned schools, each with its own specialisation.

The Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager who will play a key role in leading and managing the Outreach and Admissions functions of the College. Stationed in the Dean's Office of CoE, you will develop, plan and lead the implementation of outreach and admissions strategies and activities to achieve the College's and Schools' outreach and student recruitment objectives and targets.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Lead, manage and execute university, college and school level outreach events and activities.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of outreach events and activities to refine outreach strategies.
  • Interface between College and Engineering Schools to harmonise the outreach and admissions strategies, implementation plans and efforts, and support engineering schools in their outreach activities.
  • Participate in outreach events and activities locally and overseas.
  • Manage and administer the full spectrum of admissions and scholarship processes to meet admissions and scholarship objectives and targets.
  • Generate and analyse applications, admissions and scholarships data for development and implementation of data-driven outreach and admissions strategies.
  • Handle admissions, scholarships, financial aid and programme related enquiries from prospective students.
  • Manage FAQ database of College and Schools.
  • Manage, coordinate with various stakeholders on requests for information and collate the information for submission.
  • Guide, mentor and supervise team members in their work.
  • Lead, manage and support ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary or as assigned by supervisor.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Business/Marketing from a recognised university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of the higher education market in Singapore and Asia-Pacific region is advantageous.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, combined with the ability to effectively set priorities and goals, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and manage a team and work with stakeholders of various levels.
  • Excellent project and event management skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.
  • Meticulous and resourceful with a passion to achieve.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team to achieve goals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
