Senior Assistant Manager, Inclusion & Integration Advancement

NTU's Student Affairs Office seeks to achieve its mission of collaborating and co-creating a meaningful and enriching student life experience with its partners by:
  • promoting students' personal growth through co-curricular learning arising from student-led activities, leadership development initiatives, residential hall programmes, inclusion and integration efforts, community engagement initiatives and sports
  • facilitating meaningful engagement among key stakeholders within and outside of the NTU community.


Responsibilities
  • Evaluate inclusion and integration policy and practice gaps at NTU by researching and benchmarking vis-à-vis published evidence and international best practice.
  • Support Inclusion & Integration Unit's strategic engagement of staff, faculty, and students from NTU Offices, Schools, Student Organisations, and Hall Councils, on inclusion and integration matters.
  • Co-develop and implement strategic, outcomes-driven, data- and evidence-based inclusion and integration initiatives to raise awareness and adoption of inclusive and integrative policies and practices at NTU.
  • Analysis of data and preparation of strategic inclusion and integration reports for NTU senior management.


Requirements
  • A good degree in business administration or equivalent from a recognised university
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience supporting strategic planning and/or social innovation in the inclusion and integration space.
  • Strong interest in social inclusion and integration matters.
  • Strong strategic, critical, and innovative thinking abilities.
  • Enjoys working in a complex and constantly changing environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with university students and colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office application software.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, R or Python) would be an advantage.
