About the role
This is a newly created Individual Contributor role within a multinational regional headquarters overseeing APAC. The position calls for a hands-on yet strategic HR professional who will driveTalent Attraction as a core strength, while also contributing to Employer Branding and HR Business Partnering across the region.
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of HR experience, ideally beginning as a generalist before transitioning into Talent Acquisition, with experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) and demonstratedwillingness to step beyond primary scope to support broader HR or regional initiatives as the organization evolves.
- Experience working in multinational corporations (MNCs) with regional HR exposure across APAC is essential, as this role supports the APAC Regional Headquarters; industry experience in B2B sectors is preferred.
- Develop and manage end-to-end recruitment strategies across APAC subsidiaries, leading Talent Attraction for Singapore, Malaysia and Bangladesh in close partnership with Hiring Managers and HODs, driving recruitment excellence across diverse roles through continuous process improvement, enhanced candidate experience, and evaluation of appropriate recruitment tools and systems to support scalability and efficiency; experience with HRIS such as SuccessFactors RCM is an advantage.
- Foundational skills in Compensation & Benefits (C&B), with the ability to design and propose salary packages and provide HR advisory support to Hiring Managers, Heads of Department, andBusiness Leaders, preferably with exposure to Mercer methodologies.
- Elevate the company's employer brand by collaborating closely with team members to integrate branding initiatives that highlight the organization's unique strengths and value proposition in theregion, while strengthening employee engagement.
- Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to APAC businesses, directly supporting Malaysia and Bangladesh while providing guidance to other subsidiaries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines as required, delivering HR advisory and operational support across HR operations, policy governance, remuneration benchmarking and workforce planning, partnering with management to drive business performance; willingness to travel across APAC as needed.
- Ensure alignment with group standards by balancing global frameworks with local market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and cultural contexts, adapting thoughtfully to diverse regional business environments. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, andregional regulations.
- Operate independently while embodying strong teamwork and collaboration, actively contributing ideas, innovating solutions, and "joining the dots" to enhance HR outcomes across markets. Ability to "connect the dots" and navigate ambiguity with curiosity and initiative.Proactive, self-starter mindset - not a follower. High level of curiosity and willingness to expand horizons. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
