Nintendo Singapore Pte. Ltd. is the Singapore-based subsidiary of Nintendo Co., Ltd., a globally listed Japanese company operating in the Global IP-based Entertainment Business / Interactive Entertainment and Digital Content industry.
As part of Nintendo's global IP-based entertainment business, the Singapore entity supports regional sales operations and business planning activities across SEA, in close coordination with the company's headquarters in Japan and other overseas group companies.
The company plays a strategic role in executing Nintendo's global business strategies, particularly in areas such as sales planning, and IP-related business initiatives, within a highly integrated hardware-software business model.
We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Business Planning Group to support HQ-linked business planning and operational execution for SEA region.
The role focuses on translating headquarters-led strategies into executable plans, supporting data-driven decision-making, coordinating cross-border operations, and ensuring alignment between headquarters, regional sales companies, and operational functions.
This position requires close collaboration with headquarters in Japan and multiple overseas stakeholders, and involves responsibilities related to business analysis, process optimization, and IP-based business support, contributing to the sustainable growth of Nintendo's global entertainment business.
Job Descripton
1. Support HQ-linked business planning and execution, connecting Nintendo's headquarters in Japan with SEA operations
- Assist in implementing annual plans and KPIs related to sales and promotional activities
2. Conduct business data analysis and reporting for multiple overseas sales subsidiaries
- Consolidate and analyze sales, shipment, and inventory data across three or more countries, and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
3. Support planning and execution of IP-based licensing and collaboration businesses
- Manage multiple concurrent projects (e.g., 5 cases) including contract coordination, mass production scheduling, and post-launch analysis
4. Support platform expansion in Southeast Asia through engagement with game publishers and promotional support
- Encourage game publishers in other regions to enter the Southeast Asia market and support platform-related promotional activities
5. Prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses and presentation materials to support management decision-making
- Conduct analysis using financial metrics, operational KPIs, and IP-level performance data
Job Requirements
1. More than 3 years of experience with a globally listed company in the interactive entertainment industry, including hardware-software integrated businesses and IP-based digital content operations, or its overseas subsidiaries in business planning, operations planning, sales administration, or supply chain-related functions. The successful candidate must possess the above experience within the last 3 years.
2. Hands-on experience working in an HQ-linked operating model, involving regular coordination with headquarters and overseas subsidiaries across 3 or more countries or regions in the interactive entertainment industry.
3. More than 3 years of practical experience in business data analysis in a globally listed company or it's overseas subsidiary in the interactive entertainment industry, including support for management reporting to overseas headquarters through data consolidation and analysis related to sales and promotional activities. Experience contributing to monthly and quarterly reporting processes is required.
4. Experience managing 5 or more concurrent projects related to IP-based licensing or collaboration businesses, including contract coordination, production scheduling, and post-launch performance analysis.
5. Ability to prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses and presentation materials using financial metrics, operational KPIs, and IP-level performance data to support management decision-making.
6. At least 3 years of practical experience in the game and interactive entertainment industry, including involvement in two or more business domains such as game software, hardware, digital content, or IP-based businesses, at a level applicable to business planning or operational decision-making.
7. Substantial hands-on experience with the company's game consoles and related software, with the ability to leverage user-level product understanding to support sales planning, promotional activities, and business analysis.
8. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in business-level English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) is required for close coordination with the listed parent company in Japan, group companies, key customers, and other stakeholders.
