Job Highlights:

We are seeking committed medical professionals to join a community hospital setting providing holistic inpatient care for patients requiring step-down, rehabilitation and geriatric medical services.

Employment Details

• Salary Range: $7,000 - $10,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
• Working Days: Monday - Friday + 1 Saturday every 4 weeks
• Working Hours:
  
  • Mon-Thu: 8.30am - 5.45pm
  • Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Sat (rostered): 9.00am - 1.00pm
    Official working hours may be adjusted based on service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical care for patients in a community hospital setting
• Lead the multidisciplinary team in care planning and patient management
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate doctors in family and geriatric medicine
• Participate in research, quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
• Contribute to hospital-wide clinical interest groups to enhance patient care standards

Requirements

• Basic Medical Degree with postgraduate qualifications registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
• Postgraduate training in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, General Internal Medicine or Rehabilitation Medicine
• Registrar: MMed (Family Medicine) / MRCP (Internal Medicine) or equivalent
• Associate Consultant / Consultant: Fellowship in Family Medicine or Advanced Specialist Training in Geriatric, Rehabilitation or Internal Medicine (or equivalent)
• Strong interest in the care of older persons and patients with multiple medical co-morbidities (e.g., cardiovascular, endocrine and neurodegenerative conditions)
