Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilledAssistantManager to oversee finance-related system initiatives within the Finance Department.

This role acts as the key liaison between internal users, third-party vendors and stakeholders to ensure that finance systems are well-supported, continuously enhanced and aligned with business and operational needs.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong IT/systems background, excellent project coordination skills and hands-on experience managing technical developments within a business environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all finance system-related project within the Finance Department, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal users and third-party vendors on all finance system project matters.
  • Gather and analyse system requirements from users across various departments, ensuring requirements are clear, aligned with business processes and technically feasible.
  • Track and monitor project timelines, milestones and schedules to ensure effective project progress monitoring.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure developments meet user requirements and comply with business processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including audit trails, functional specifications and sign-off records.
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal users and third-party vendors to ensure successful implementation.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing finance systems to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing finance systems projects, ideally in IT solutions, software development or infrastructure-related environments and familiar with Oracle NetSuite system
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to financial systems
  • Strong skills in project planning, stakeholder communication and technical documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • A team player who is independent, adaptable and able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
