Job description

As an HR Business partner, this role demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the highest quality generalist advice, coaching and support to the Company's manager and team members. A key face of HR, the role covers all areas of HR for the business unit portfolios assigned to you and functional groups, with particular focus on performance management, compliance & core HR processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to Senior HR Manager, you need to facilitate and implement proactive HR strategies and initiatives to support the company's business expansion plan.
  • Manage full spectrum of HR functions. Lead, plan, direct, oversee, and coordinate work activities of staff relating to manpower planning & deployment, performance management, organization change, employee relations & engagement, employee experience, labor relations, talent management and succession planning.
  • Provide insights and work with the HR strategic planning team to review, develop and implement HR policies and processes, guidelines to align with business objectives and local statutory requirements.
  • Partner with the business stakeholders to manage manpower planning, employee relations, performance management and talent management. Implement and oversee on-boarding programme.
  • Partner, advise, support and guide operational leaders to achieve company objectives and goals.
  • Maintain manpower records and compile statistical reports required by the Company. Analyze manpower statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of issues and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's policies and practices.
  • Monitor and keep track of manpower budgets.

Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder graduated from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 7 years of HR generalist experience combined with HR qualifications - combination of education and direct experience in Human Resources
  • Strong understanding of the HR legislation and requirements. Specifically, knowledge of lawful employment practices & compliance
  • Experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality (or similar) is an advantage
  • Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring programmes, policy and processes improvement
  • Broad knowledge of and experience with a wide array of HR programmes and practices including employment law, compensation, performance management, employee relations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
