ROLE
Working closely with the business development team and is responsible for driving the firm's growth strategy in China, with a primary focus on capital raising, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. The role serves as a key bridge between the firm and Chinese investors, institutions, and intermediaries, while working closely with internal investment, compliance, and investor relations teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & CAPABILITIES
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience within financial institutions, including at least 5 years in China market.
Bachelor's degree or above from a leading university.
Prior experience in asset management is highly desirable.
Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, is required.
Prior experience in onshore China banking operations is preferred.
Good interpersonal skills and team player.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
CMFAS qualification will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capital raising & investor development in the China market.
- Lead business development efforts targeting Chinese institutional and qualified investors, including but not limited to: - Asset managers - Family offices - Private banks - Insurance companies
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of China-based investors for the firm's funds and strategies.
- Support fundraising activities for new and existing funds with China exposure.
- Client Relationship Management in China
- Assist in initial and ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes to fulfil Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/ Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) requirements.
