Title: Manager/Assistant Manager (Youth)

This candidate will report to the Executive Director of Calvary Community Care (C3).

General

• Understand, imbibe & promote C3 mission, vision and values

• Direct, manage, review youth programmes

• Analyse, distil and identify needs in selected sector

• Define, plan and propose Programme to meet community needs

Job Description (Programme specific)

1. Responsible for pitching of C3 youth programmes to stakeholders.

2. Provide effective supervision and guidance to team of full-time staff, part-time youth workers and volunteers ensuring programmes meet their objectives.

3. Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for impactful youth work, and to help team address complex cases.

4. Collaborate with partners and external partners to optimize youth work programmes.

5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of youth initiatives.

6. Manage existing relationships with funders, sponsors and partners and cultivate new relationships.

7. Develop new income generation and fundraising activities.

8. Be key personnel to provide KPI, Impact Reports and report statements to stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities

• Assist in the leading the changes in C3 as required
• Assist in fund raising, administration and other responsibilities as required
• Take on other additional responsibilities as required

• Have a strong passion for working with youth-at-risk

• Possess good knowledge of youth landscape

• Possess good communication, leadership and engagement skills

• Possess good organizational skills and is detail oriented

• A reliable team player

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Fluency in English and a 2nd language

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with youth (in learning support/community programmes)

• Proficient with Microsoft office and Google Suites

*Salary range commensurate with the academic level and relevant work experience
