This is a position with Deloitte's rapidly expanding Tax Technology Consulting practice, providing tailored advice and solutions to a broad range of clients, both domestic and multinationals looking to gain access into various markets from tax and regulatory perspective.
As an Assistant Manager, you will have some knowledge of working on ERP (SAP/Oracle) implementations and familiar with integrating the tax bolt-on solutions (OneSource/Vertex) within the ERP transformation programs.

You will join a team of dedicated ERP and OneSource/Vertex implementation specialists, focusing on end-to-end project implementations. You will be responsible for delivering compliance and customs solutions which include project management, change management, solution design, solution implementation and end-user support & training.

In your role, you will also lead and/or facilitate business process definition and modeling, check the feasibility of this business model regarding the ERP products and the legal requirements. You will guide a team to implement and configure the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical/reporting needs.

You will be a key contributor to the development and growth of our TTC practice globally.

You will join a team, where team members are located across South East Asia, with expertise across various tax function, such as tax compliance, indirect tax engine and tax automation. You will be responsible for delivering compliance and customs solutions which include project management, change management, solution design, solution implementation and end-user support & training.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Information Technology or similar fields;
• At least 5 years of experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) project implementation or similar projects, and thus have solid knowledge of the ERP Solution.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft would be an advantage;
• Integrating tax bolt-on solutions with the ERP system (i.e. Vertex, OneSource Indirect Tax)
• Technical or functional lead on at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP implementation
• Experience in SAP modules (e.g. DRC, ABAP etc.) is an asset
• Experience on Tax technology tool will be a plus, such tax compliance tool, indirect tax engine, pillar two solutions;
• Experience on Microsoft apps will be also a plus, such as Power BI, Power Query, etc;
• Experience on other tools such as Alteryx, workflow, etc;
• Software aptitude in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio;
• Experience working in client facing consulting/ contracting role will be an advantage;
• Self-motivated with ability to take ownership and work autonomously;
• Team player with strong communication skills.
