Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance

Work Hours: 42 hours/week, 5 days

Key Responsibilities:

• QA Support: Assist in managing quality assurance activities across all laboratories.
• Trend & Report Review: Timely review of monthly internal QC trends and EQAS reports; investigate outliers.
• Training & SOP Updates: Educate staff on QA standards, update SOPs, and assist with new instrument evaluations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Administer MOH and regulatory matters (e.g., HCSA, Singapore Customs) and support accreditation activities (ISO 15189:2020).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a core laboratory environment (healthcare sector).
• Strong QA knowledge and understanding of biostatistics.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and laboratory accreditation is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to coach and influence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel preferred) and LIS (training provided).
