Assistant Manager (Surgical & Specialised Services)!

We are seeking an Assistant Manager (Surgical & Specialised Services) to oversee the operations of assigned clinical service points and drive improvements in service delivery, patient care, and operational efficiency. This role offers opportunities to partner closely with clinical and nursing leaders, lead a team of non-nursing staff, and contribute to the development of new services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of assigned service points, including front counter services and administrative matters.
• Partner with Nurse Managers and other stakeholders to solve system and process issues.
• Drive customer satisfaction by implementing innovative services and ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Achieve service volume, financial, and customer satisfaction targets through business planning and regular reviews with clinical heads.
• Lead, train, and appraise a team of non-nursing staff to ensure service excellence.
• Support staff recruitment, retention, and development to build a motivated workforce.
• Participate in departmental committees, projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Opportunity for job rotation to other operational areas after 3 years.

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the healthcare industry (healthcare operations experience advantageous).
• At least 2 years of experience managing frontline staff.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to multi-task and work effectively under tight timelines.
