Join SingHealth, Singapore's largest public healthcare cluster, and lead the transformation of research capabilities through strategic client engagement and supporting technology implementation. You'll manage client relationships for SingHealth's research data and data science platforms, ensuring seamless access and support for stakeholders across our network of institutions.

We are seeking a Senior Assistant Director to drive client management as the primary focus while championing Epic implementation for research workflows. You'll serve as the strategic bridge between clinical teams, researchers, IT specialists, and governance stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration of research capabilities into our Epic system and maximizing the impact of our research infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

As the primary liaison for internal stakeholders seeking access to research data and advanced analytics tools, you will manage the SingHealth Data Science Innovation and Research Platforms, overseeing end-to-end service delivery including onboarding, access provisioning, and project-specific configurations. You will develop high-trust collaborative relationships with domain experts and institutional representatives, proactively addressing stakeholder needs and providing guidance on optimising platform usage to enhance research efficiency and translational impact.

Alongside client engagement, you will champion adoption of research-enabled Epic functionalities through user engagement forums and change management strategies, leading workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to maximise platform adoption. In addition, you will develop and execute SingHealth's Epic research enablement strategy, leading workgroups to deliver research-enabled workflows that align with institutional goals and national healthcare initiatives. Your role involves configuring, testing, and deploying Epic modules to support research use cases including participant recruitment, consent management, clinical trial documentation, and integration with research data platforms. You will ensure interoperability between Epic and research data lakes, registries, and analytics environments whilst maintaining compliance with data governance, Institutional Review Board, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health/Life Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Informatics, or related quantitative, statistical, biomedical, or healthcare administration fields
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in healthcare IT, clinical research informatics, or large-scale health data platform management
  • Prior experience with Epic or similar clinical information systems such as Cerner or AllScripts is beneficial
  • Proven experience leading multi-institutional stakeholder engagement and managing complex change initiatives across healthcare or research environments
  • Experience in healthcare data management and governance
  • Strategic planning, resource allocation, and service delivery experience for high-performance computing, data analytics, or research IT systems
  • Experience working with large and diverse groups of stakeholders and users
  • Research environment experience as coordinator, data analyst, or research manager is advantageous
  • Strategic thinking ability with skills to translate research needs into data-driven solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities with experience engaging executive leadership
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven approach with ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced, complex research environments
