Assistant Manager/ Manager (Operations) - to commence in Jan/ Feb 2026

Job Expectations:

The incumbent shall lead the Operations Services Department to drive operational excellence in the Nursing Home. This includes ensuring that the Nursing Home is in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety and environmental requirements; as well as implementing measures to ensure that the physical integrity of the building structure, its appearance and optimal functions meet the necessary standards.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILTIES

1. Lead and manage the Operations team in ensuring the smooth delivery of the facilities, laundry, housekeeping, kitchen, fire command centre, transportation, logistics and hospitality services in the nursing home.

2. Plan, communicate and implement policies, as well as ensure procedures meet operational excellence.

3. Manage and oversee the department's budgets and expenditures.

4. Engage and ensure service delivery of contracted vendors and service providers meet business and operational requirements.

5. Assess and submit both ongoing and emergent request for the maintenance of environmental services and equipment of the Home.

6. Ensure that adequate measures are taken to maintain and upkeep the building and environmental services and equipment of the Home.

7. Ensure that adequate measures are taken to maintain and upkeep the building and environment so as to protect the health and safety of all residents and staff in the nursing home.

8. Timely reporting and analysis of operational reports/KPIs.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Degree in Business/Building/Facilities Management/Engineering or equivalent certification

2. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years are in supervisory role

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

4. Good coordination, interpersonal and people management skills

5. Exceptional communication skills

6. Ability to multi-task, with an eye for details and perform under tight timelines

7. Positive disposition, resourceful and a team player

8. Prior experience and practical knowledge of Nursing Home's operations would be an advantage
