About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Assistant Manager - Tax and Compliance to join our dynamic team at Advenz. In this full-time, office-based role located in Paya Lebar, you will be responsible for managing tax and compliance matters for our clients, ensuring they remain compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, goods and services tax (GST), and payroll tax
• Ensure our client's compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to our clients, identifying opportunities for tax optimisation and mitigation
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and external auditors
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices, and implement necessary changes within the organisation
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our Clients' tax and compliance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a tax and compliance role, preferably within the accounting and finance industry
• Strong knowledge of Singaporean tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, GST, and payroll tax
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax issues
• Proven track record of managing tax and compliance teams, and leading process improvement initiatives
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation would be an added advantage.
