We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hawker centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of hygiene and service, optimizing tenant and customer satisfaction, and driving overall operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day hawker centre operations, including stall operations, cleanliness, tenant coordination, equipment functionality, and crowd control.
• Act as the main point of contact for all stall tenants. Handle disputes, ensure lease compliance, and support tenants in adhering to operational standards and guidelines.
• Supervise on-ground team members including cleaners, cashiers (if centralized payment), and security. Oversee work schedules, resolve staffing issues, and conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain service quality. Handle customer feedback or complaints efficiently and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure strict adherence to NEA and SFA hygiene and food safety regulations. Coordinate regular pest control, deep cleaning, and audits.
• Monitor usage and condition of shared equipment and facilities. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and replacements as needed.
• Assist in cost management initiatives including utility usage, labor costs, and maintenance expenditure.
• Provide regular operational reports to the management, highlighting issues, improvements, and performance metrics.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies such as accidents, fire drills, or health-related incidents within the food court premises.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
