Role Overview

You'll support the Outlet Manager in running the day-to-day outlet operations while leading our wine and beverage program. As a dual-role leader, you'll ensure smooth service flow, guide the team, and take pride in recommending bottles and pairings to our guests. This is a rare opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, service leadership, and curating meaningful wine moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the outlet's day-to-day operations and assist in leading the service team.
• Curate and manage the wine and beverage list, including procurement, storage, and pricing.
• Train staff on wine, and beverage service standards and knowledge.
• Engage guests with recommendations, pairings, and storytelling around wines.
• Ensure smooth transitions across café, lunch, dinner, and evening bar service.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to align beverage pairings with food.
• Maintain a high level of floor presence and ensure warm, attentive service.
• Assist with rostering, stocktake, opening/closing procedures, and floor operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of F&B experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Strong wine knowledge; formal certifications (e.g. WSET) are a plus.
• Confident, service-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.
• Good communication and team leadership skills.
• Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
