Job Description:

Our client is a fast-growing player in the clean energy industry, committed to driving the transition to sustainable energy through innovative solar, wind, and green infrastructure projects. As the company expands its footprint, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen financial operations and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, including general ledger, AR/AP, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of financial statements
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, P&L statements, and variance analysis for management
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of project-related costs and revenue
• Support internal controls, accounting system improvements, and process automation
• Assist with group consolidation and intercompany transactions, if applicable
• Stay up to date with local accounting standards and energy industry-related financial regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA qualification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the clean energy sector
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and strong Excel skills
• Meticulous, analytical, and proactive with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin or other regional language is a plus
