My client is a commodity trading firm with a global footprint, and we are seeking a skilled Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, GL entries, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with audits
• Support trade finance and settlement processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience ideally in commodity trading
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
