We are partnering with a fast-growing and dynamic retail brand to recruit a Senior Tax Accountant for a newly created, high-impact regional role. This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys building from the ground up and wants to play a key role in establishing a strong tax reporting and compliance function across APAC. You will be responsible for managing tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, partnering closely with regional finance teams, operational leaders, and tax authorities. As part of an evolving business, this role offers the chance to grow alongside the company, take ownership of processes, and make a meaningful impact across the region.

The Role

In this role, you will take the lead in overseeing tax compliance and reporting across multiple regions, ensuring the business adheres to all relevant state and federal regulations. You will manage filings for corporate income, payroll, and indirect taxes, working closely with local tax agents to prepare and submit accurate returns. Beyond compliance, you will provide guidance to internal teams on tax matters, help establish robust processes, and play a key role in resolving issues by liaising with tax authorities. As the business expands, you will also support market entry initiatives by researching local tax regulations, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and implement best practices across the tax function.

Your Profile

We are looking for a seasoned tax professional-ideally a Chartered Tax Practitioner or equivalent-with over 5 years of experience and a solid grasp of regional tax compliance and reporting across APAC. You are someone who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, loves tackling new challenges, and brings both precision and passion to the table. Whether flying solo or partnering with a team, you are a self-starter who's highly organized, detail-obsessed, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You communicate clearly, manage stakeholders with confidence, and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
