Job responsibilities

> Maintain accurate records of day-to-day transactions.

> Responsible for full set of accounts of assigned entities.

> Manage monthly financial closing and standard reporting.

> Review and analyse monthly finance reports.

> Coordinate with company secretary on corporate matters.

> Work with external tax consultant on annual tax filing.

> Responsible for annual statutory audit including preparation of audited financial statements in accordance with SFRS.

> Support in budget and forecast exercise.

> To assist in any other ad-hoc projects assigned by Financial Controller.

Job requirements

> Degree in Accounting or ACCA; CPA is a plus.

> Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

>Prior experience in ship leasing, loan or finance accounting is highly advantageous.

>Able to work with minimal supervision.

>Comfortable to work in fast paced newly setup.

>Highly hands-on, resourceful, resilient and deadline oriented.

>Experience in dealing with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics or Netsuite).

>Candidate with immediate or short notice is preferred.
