Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business units to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes.
• Work closely with Senior/Line Management to build internal capabilities, influence attitudes to risk and controls as well as provide objective and professional audit advice and insights.
• Involve assisting in developing and reviewing the annual risk-based audit plan.
• Plan and conduct end-to-end audit(s) to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems. Preparing and reviewing audit reports for submission and presentation to the management and the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
• Monitor and manage external service providers to ensure that audits provide appropriate assurance and completeness in scope.
• Assist in audit planning and scoping for audit projects.
• Provide secretariat support to the Audit and Risk Management Committee, including drafting of minutes of meeting.
• Assist to review and enhance IA policies, processes and documentation for compliance with the Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Perform investigation or any other ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Assist in administrative matters on daily operations.

Requirements

• Possess 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Audit
• Having relevant qualifications or experience in Accountancy or Professional Accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA) will be advantageous. Possessing a relevant certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) would also be plus.
• Prior experience in or knowledge of public sector entities will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge and understanding of internal controls, risk management and governance, auditing techniques and methodologies
• Strong analytical mind, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Demonstrates a strong passion for learning and growth, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment.
