Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage audit engagements to ensure smooth delivery of audit process.

• Maintain the system of quality management of audit and other engagements.

• Identify and respond to significant audit risks and issues.

• Have good knowledge in current financial reporting matters.

• Manage the audit personnel and the clients.

• Provide assistance and continuous training to associates.

• Manage full aspects of audit engagements, from planning, executing, reporting, clearance of work and completion, up to inventorisation of audit files

• Manage a portfolio of clients including client's expectations and deliverables, responsible for all client management services, act as a liaison between clients and engagement team

• Involved in budgeting process to prepare forecast billings and collections on a regular basis, ensure timely billing and collections

• Manage the stakeholders' expectations and project timelines and proactively keep them abreast of the progress of the project.

• Coach, motivate and develop team members to attain experience that cultivates technical competencies, and this would include conducting training for the team members with the assistance of our in-house technical and training team.

• Manage staff performance, conduct timely performance reviews, and provide performance feedback.

• Work with the business development team on pitches.

• Work with the audit business support team to manage engagement financials, including budgets, profitability, work-in-progress, timely billing and collection.

• Facilitate effective communication within the cross-functional and culturally diverse team.

• Apply requisite professional scepticism during work and exercise professional judgement on critical technical issues.

• Manage the stakeholders' expectations and project timelines and proactively keep them abreast of the progress of the project.

Requirements:

• Accountancy degree or equivalent

• Good technical and analytical skills

• Degree in accountancy or related discipline and have obtained professional qualification

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a public accounting firm

• Well conversant in computer skills in MS office

• Service orientated, calm, conversant in bilingual as Audit Manager is required to liase with mandarin speaking clients

• Have a positive attitude, great communication skills, an analytical mind, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, ability to work independently as well as an effective team player.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadline.

• Experience with US GAAP is preferred.
