Job Description:

Our client is a leading real estate services provider specializing in property management, development, investment, and asset advisory. They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role will ensure accurate financial operations and provide key insights to support the company's real estate portfolio and strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with business unit heads.
• Analyze financial data and performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and investigate variances.
• Track and manage financials related to property leases, sales transactions, development costs, and service revenue.
• Coordinate with project and property management teams to validate cost allocations and capital expenditures.
• Support investment analysis, including ROI calculations and financial due diligence.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare and file statutory reports, tax submissions, and regulatory filings.
• Implement internal controls and risk mitigation procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in real estate or property services.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, real estate accounting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Yardi) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
