Roles and Responsibilities:

• In charge of full aspect of financial and accounting matters, including but not limited to the preparation of financial reports for internal and regulatory submissions across APAC jurisdiction.
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Preparing group consolidated financial statement.
• Responsible in Finance administration and operation work to support the daily activities of the business such as profit and cash flow projections, and financial analysis.
• Manage full accounting operations to ensure smooth business operations.
• Manage financial planning, policies, processing, forecasting and budgets.
• Support various audits, inspections, and tax submissions as per regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines, preferably as a fully qualified Certified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and/or financial reporting experience, preferably at a financial institution or accounting & audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and procedures.
• Has good Financial Product knowledge
• Experienced in full set entity accounting and preparation of financial statement, including consolidation.
• Experienced in MAS reporting.
• Experienced in full audit procedure.
• Display sound knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and taxation rules.
• Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including team members and senior management.
• Professional and possess strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Independent, pro-active with effective problem-solving skills.
• A team player that collaborates well with other departments.
