Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing financial transactions across multiple companies, tax compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Management Responsibilities

Full-Set Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple corporate entities.
  • Ensure accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform monthly closing based on financial reports, including rental income and expense recognition.

Tax & Compliance
  • Prepare GST workings for tax consultant review and submission by the Tax Agent.
  • Ensure timely tax filing, including GST submissions, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating the annual audit process with complete and accurate documentation.

HR Payments & Payroll Management
  • Oversee payroll processing and financial disbursements for employees.

Multi-Company Financial Oversight
  • Manage financial operations under a group.
  • Efficiently handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations.

System & Process Development
  • Establish accounting processes from scratch, ensuring efficient workflow in the absence of existing systems.
  • Develop customised reimbursement and internal financial management systems.

Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team.
  • Liaise with property managing agents to review and reconcile financial reports.

Ad-Hoc Financial Duties
  • Perform any other financial tasks assigned by management to support business operations.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting.

• Hands-on expertise in tax submission, GST filing, and compliance.

• Familiarity with SGX rules, regulations, and compliance requirements is an advantage.

• Ability to establish accounting systems and workflows independently.

• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and handling multi-entity finances.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling complex financial operations.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field (CPA/ACCA/CIMA)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in full sets of accounts

• Familiarity with finance and taxation policies and a sense of confidentiality

• Strong communication skills to influence and engage internally & externally

• Proficiency in Mandarin language and review of Mandarin documentation
