Job Description:

• \tCalculate taxable income and the income tax liabilities of the organisation.

• \tCalculate the cost of different types of capital financial instruments and the overall costs of capital for the organisation.

• \tCompile accurate tax-related information for the organisation.

• \tCompute the valuation of business and financial assets using different models.

• \tEnsure the respective privileges and rights are in place within the accounting information system for users with different job roles and functions.

• \tExtract data and provide analysis for management using relevant accounting information systems or software.

• \tImplement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors.

• \tMaintain accurate journal entries and allocations.

• \tManage accounts payable and receivables to help the organisation determine working capital needs and funding strategies.

• \tOperate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively.

• \tParticipate in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• \tPlan and coordinate the annual financial audit process.

• \tPrepare accurate and timely financial statements.

• \tPrepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.

• \tPrepare financial statements and disclosure notes.

• \tProvide accurate and timely tax and financial reports to the relevant authorities.

• \tProvide data in relation to assets, capital rationing and cost of capital.

• \tReconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organisation's financial transactions.

• \tResolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings.

• \tRespond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings.

Requirements:

• \tMinimum Degree in Engineering/Commerce in recognized institutions.

• \tMinimum 5+ years relevant experience with min. 1 years' experience in construction industry

• \tExperience as Accountant/Finance Staff is mandatory.

• \tExperience of working in Construction firm is mandatory
