Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Account Executive to handle our accounts receivable and payable functions, manage GST returns, and support our shipment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment of vendor bills.
- Reconcile accounts and manage cash flow.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and payments.
- GST Returns:
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and requirements.
- Assist with GST audits and resolve any discrepancies.
- Receipts Management:
- Record and verify receipts, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Reconcile receipts with bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Shipment Knowledge:
- Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delivery.
- General Accounting Support:
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, preferably in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and payable, GST returns, and shipment processes.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MS Dynamic Nav, MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of GST regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
