Responsibilities:

• Ensure financial reporting adheres to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies and procedures, and compliance with local statutory & MAS regulatory requirements.
• Process for staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses
• Work closely with the branch’s internal and external auditors on audit matters.
• Liaise with tax agent, provide relevant tax information and verify submission of data is accurate and compliant tax filings
• Liaise with external auditors
• Familiar with MAS reporting, to review MAS reports prepared by the team, draft and respond to the queries and questions raised by MAS.

Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Finance & Accounting with minimum 3 years financial and accounting experience in banks
• Proficient in MS Excel is essential
• Meticulous and good team player
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese as incumbent is required to liaise with colleagues in from mainland China.
