Job Summary

This Finance Manager role at Kodecoon offers the opportunity to lead the financial operations of a multi-entity ed-tech group, driving disciplined reporting and strategic growth. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape financial controls and support sustainable expansion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee the full set of accounts for all Kodecoon entities (currently 10 companies) to ensure accurate financial records
• Complete monthly financial closing by the 10th working day of the following month to deliver timely management insights
• Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow statements to inform decision-making
• Conduct bank reconciliations and verify accurate revenue and expense recognition across entities
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns in compliance with Singapore tax regulations
• Liaise effectively with IRAS and external tax agents to coordinate annual tax computations and filings
• Prepare year-end schedules and coordinate the preparation of unaudited financial statements for audit readiness
• Monitor and report on cashflow across entities to provide management with clear financial visibility
• Implement and continuously improve internal financial controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen governance
• Ensure all financial documentation is accurately recorded and maintained in QuickBooks Online for transparency and audit trail
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis to drive operational efficiency and expansion planning
• Provide actionable financial insights to support operational decisions and growth initiatives

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing full sets of accounts
• Strong knowledge of Singapore GST and tax framework
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience managing multiple entities within a finance function
• Experience in education or multi-outlet retail industry environments
• Proven ability to establish finance SOPs from the ground up
• Familiarity with automation tools and reporting dashboards
• Interest in contributing to a growing brand and building scalable financial systems
