Requirements
- Handle full set of accounts including AR, AP, and GL
- Prepare journal entries, process invoices and payments, and track receipts
- Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end closing and bank reconciliations
- Follow up on outstanding balances with customers and internal teams
- Maintain fixed assets and asset registers
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Upload payment files via the bank's e-banking system
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
- Compile MPA Local Business Spending reports
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate accounting
- Provide backup support and handle ad-hoc administrative / IT duties when required
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry (Ship Owner / Operator preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiar with accounting systems
- Good communication skills and a detail-oriented, independent team player
