Audit Manager (Full-Time)

We are a growing Singapore audit firm providing financial audit and external audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage teams, and deliver high-quality audit services. This role is ideal for a professional who is technically strong, client-focused, and ready to take ownership of engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Engagement Management

• Plan, manage, and review statutory audits and assurance engagements from start to completion
• Identify audit risks, develop audit strategies, and ensure appropriate audit procedures are performed
• Review audit working papers and financial statements to ensure compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and SFRS
• Ensure engagements are completed within budget, timelines, and quality standards

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, supervise, and mentor audit seniors and associates
• Allocate work, monitor progress, and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback
• Conduct performance reviews and support team development and training

Client Management

• Act as the main point of contact for clients on audit matters
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Communicate audit findings, issues, and recommendations clearly and professionally
• Provide value-added advice to clients on accounting, internal controls, and regulatory matters

Technical & Compliance

• Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance to the team on complex accounting and audit issues
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional qualification (e.g. CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA)
• Minimum 4-6 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA)
• Experience managing audit teams and multiple engagements concurrently
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
