Job Overview:

• Handles full duties of accounts including GST submissions, month-end closing reports, financial reports and ensure all intercompany balances, transactions and reconciliations are properly reconciled
• Management of cash flow and assist in preparation of cash flow projection, project costing and WIP accounting
• Prepare and ensure monthly management report, are in accordance to FRS and accounting policies
• Prepare and implement financial and accounting policies and procedures for the company and make recommendations for improvements
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other professional advisors for statutory compliances
• Assist in the management and maintenance of robust internal control processes
• Act as the key support and backup to the Head of Accounts

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA or equivalent, CPA and CA preferred
• Working experience in construction industry with at least 10 years in handling full duties of accounts
• Meticulous, detailed oriented and able to multi-task
• Able to lead, train and supervise a team of accounting staff
• Proficient in Sage 300 ACCPAC accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Five-and-half-day work week. (Alternate Saturdays)
• Working location: North
