About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Accounting Supervisor (Costing & Reporting) to join our dynamic team at Golden Phoenix Solar Energy Pte. Ltd. in Paya Lebar East, East Region. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial records, overseeing costing processes, and generating accurate and insightful reports to support the strategic decision-making of our business.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
2. Oversee the costing and pricing of our solar energy products and services, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
4. Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to the management team to optimise business performance
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
7. Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team, fostering their professional development

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or CIMA)
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the renewable energy or manufacturing industry
3. Proven expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
7. A self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
