Accounting / AuditingA well-established property group with operations inSingapore, China, and Australia is seeking a versatile, dynamic, andresponsible professional to join our team as Group Accountant, reportingdirectly to the Group Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Forecasting & Budgeting
• Develop, maintain, andenhance financial forecasting models across multiple business units.
• Coordinate and leadthe annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals andtimelines.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Perform ad-hocfinancial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly groupconsolidation and management reporting packages.
Audit & Compliance
• Assist in preparingyear-end group audit schedules and consolidation deliverables.
• Manage year-end auditsfor all entities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatorystandards.
• Liaise with internaland external auditors, legal counsel, and tax advisors as needed.
Technical Accounting & Projects
• Support the FinancialController on technical accounting matters and policy implementation.
• Contribute tocross-functional projects and business initiatives as required.
Group GST Management
• Oversee thepreparation and submission of GST returns for all entities within the group.
• Ensure timely andaccurate reconciliation of GST accounts and compliance with local taxregulations.
• Monitor changes in GSTlegislation and assess their impact on group operations.
• Coordinate with taxadvisors and regulatory bodies on GST-related matters.
• Provide guidance andtraining to internal teams on GST processes and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting, or a recognized Professional Accounting Qualification.
• Minimum 5 years ofrelevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a group or regionalrole.
• Strong technicalknowledge in group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Proficient inMicrosoft Office; experience with SQL-based accounting systems is preferred.
• Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated,detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively in afast-paced environment.
