Our client is a fast-growing player in the engineering technology services industry. As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will partner closely with the General Manager to provide financial support on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities for Singapore and Malaysia, including:

• \tOverseeing financial accounting and statutory reporting

• \tPreparing management reports and analysis for decision-making

• \tDriving budgeting and forecasting processes

• \tManaging cash flow and working capital

• \tEnsuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements

• \tSupporting audits and liaising with external auditors

• \tImplementing process improvements and supporting system enhancements

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience:

• \tCA/CPA/CIMA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance

• \tExternal audit exposure with a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm

• \tProven track record in handling a full spectrum of finance and accounting within an inventory based environment

• \tStrong exposure to financial modelling and advanced Excel skills

• \tFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

• \tAbility to be hands-on, proactive, diligent, and work independently

• \tStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
