Responsibilities
-Perform audit engagements from engagement planning, preparing audit documentations, financial statements and reports for a wide range of industries including small and medium-size enterprises, private companies, limited companies, and subsidiaries of local and overseas listed companies for their statutory and special audits
- Performing IPO audits for US listing, PACOB audit clients listed in Nasdaq and NYSE
- Handle a variety of assurance and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries. Assist in preparation of audit working papers and reports for review in accordance with applicable standards
- Be Responsible for performing audit financial statements including planning, fieldwork etc and prepare / review management accounts and financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IFRS and US GAAP
- Execute assigned audit procedures and support engagement completion, identify audit issues and concerns and communicate to the audit team.
- Work closely with team members and adhere to the audit timeline. Constant communication with superior and clients with regards to job status
Requirements:
1. Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or relevant professional qualification
2. At least 2 - 3 years and above post qualification experience in external audit, possesses current technical knowledge aligned with professional audit standards and procedures
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements is essential
4. Leadership skills, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically, identifying risks and opportunities
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software Program
6. Hardworking individual with a strong commitment to delivering high quality work and able to work independently
7. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and clients
8. Is a team player and ability to work collaboratively and mentor junior team members
