Job Description:

- Provide key technical expertise to maintain high standards and adherence to professional requirements. Contribute to enhancing audit methodologies and processes for greater efficiency

- Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing the entire audit process from planning to finalization. Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring engagements are completed efficiently within deadlines

- Reviewing audit work, financial statements, other audit-related documentation and providing guidance to more junior team members

- Supervising and leading audit teams to ensure the successful completion of audit engagements

- Build and maintain strong connections with clients and collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

- Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

- Contributing to the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures

- Oversee the full audit process, including planning, execution, reporting, and finalization of audit files

- Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients independently, comprising Singapore local clients, SME, US clients and IPO audit, ensuring high quality service delivery and acting as the key liaison between clients and the engagement team

- Lead and supervise an audit team, monitoring audit assignments and performing all aspects of planning and executing risk-based financial and operational audits for a wide range of clients from various industries
-Analyse the internal control systems of companies

- Review and ensure completeness and quality of staff work and compliance with all statutory and/or regulatory requirements of the engagements

- Coach, motivate and develop team members to attain experience that cultivates technical competencies

- Provide expert guidance on audit matters, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices

- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring engagements are completed efficiently within deadlines

- Ensure audit quality and adherence to professional and ethical standards (ACRA, ISCA, IFAC Code of Ethics)

- Lead internal quality control reviews and implement improvements in audit methodology and documentation

- Review and approve audit planning, fieldwork, and completion procedures to ensure compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA)

- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives (e.g., training, audit innovation, practice management)

Requirements:

1. Minimally 5 years of audit experience, including handling a portfolio of listed clients

2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and

3. A recognized professional accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent)

4. Strong understanding and good working knowledge of IRFS, US GAAP etc

5. Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members

7. Capable of guiding teams and managing multiple engagements simultaneously

8. Proficient in the use of audit software and other relevant technology
